How to make a Wi-Fi QR code

  1. Choose Wi-Fi as the content type in FlexiQR.
  2. Enter the exact network name, security type and password. Match upper and lower case.
  3. Keep a clear border and strong contrast. Export and scan the code using a guest device.

Use a guest network

A Wi-Fi QR contains the credentials; anyone who can scan it may read them. A guest network limits what visitors can access. Put the print where intended guests can see it and replace it after changing the password.

Generation privacy is not secrecy

FlexiQR generates the QR locally, without uploading your password. A saved project and exported code still contain the credentials. Store both accordingly. WPA3 compatibility depends on the phone and scanner.
